Not all loans qualify or are approved for loan modification.  Only people who are facing hardship because of reduction of income, job loss, divorce, death, excessive obligations, illness, Interest Adjustment, negative amortization/option arm, military service, natural disaster, or other hardship and are no longer able to afford their mortgage payment. Lenders will help homeowners in distress.
